75 hawk (P-36) good conditions. Curtiss model 75 made of cast aluminum, on wooden stand with propeller section shapes. Circa 1940 despite being 80 years old, it was kept in good condition. The aluminum production and protection processes were carried out in the same military aircraft factory, FMA.Apparently it is original painting, is not repainted. On the tail of the model, although covered a little by paint, you can read the brand of the aircraft factory "FMA Córdoba". This mark is in relief at the time of casting. Wingspan: 26cm = (10.23in).
Length: 20cm = (7.87 in). Wooden base: 24cm x 17cm = (9.44 x 6.69). Height with base: 12cm = (4.72in).
Weight: 1kg = (2.20). 1938 Argentina buys 30 Curtiss Hawk 75-0 units, and acquires the manufacture under license of another 20 units, which would be produced at the FMA. The notable difference of the Hawk 75-0 compared to the other models, was its fixed landing gear and a more powerful engine, the Wright Cyclone GR-1820 G5 of 1000Hp at 2200 RPM.
